Terms
Terms & Conditions
What to expect when you plan travel with Next Era Travel LLC.
Effective date: October 17, 2026
These terms apply to this website and to travel planning services provided by Next Era Travel LLC ("Next Era Travel," "I," "me," or "my"), based in Gainesville and Ocala, Florida. By using this site or engaging my services, you agree to these terms. I want them to be clear, so please read them and ask me about anything that is not.
My role
I am a travel advisor. I research, recommend, plan, and arrange travel on your behalf. I work for you, not for any resort or vendor. I do not own or operate the airlines, resorts, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, or other suppliers that provide your travel services. Those suppliers are independent, and your reservation with them is also subject to their own terms and conditions.
Planning investment
Most services begin with a planning investment, which compensates me for personalized research, comparison, and itinerary development. The amount is quoted to you before you commit, based on the scope of your trip. It is due before research begins and is non-refundable, because the work starts right away. The planning investment is separate from the cost of your travel services.
Some bookings, such as certain cruise-only reservations, may be handled without a planning investment. I will tell you which applies before we begin.
How I am compensated
In addition to the planning investment, I may receive commissions or other compensation from travel suppliers when you book through me. I disclose this so you can make informed decisions. My recommendations are based on what fits you, and I will tell you plainly when a property or option is not the right choice.
Bookings and payments
- A booking is confirmed only when the supplier confirms it and required deposits or payments are received.
- Payment schedules, deadlines, and amounts are set by the suppliers. I will share them with you and help you track them, but you are responsible for making payments on time.
- Prices, availability, and inclusions can change until a booking is confirmed. Quotes are not guaranteed until then.
- You are responsible for reviewing all confirmations, itineraries, and documents carefully, and telling me right away if anything is incorrect, including the spelling of names, which must match travel documents exactly.
Changes and cancellations
Changes and cancellations are governed by each supplier's policies, which often include penalties or non-refundable amounts. I will explain the relevant policies before you book and help you with changes where possible. Supplier fees and penalties are your responsibility. The planning investment is not refundable if a trip is changed or cancelled.
Travel documents, health, and safety
You are responsible for having valid passports, visas, entry permits, vaccinations, and any other documents or requirements for every traveler. I can share general guidance, but requirements change and must be confirmed with official government sources. Please check current travel advisories for your destination. You travel at your own discretion and risk.
Travel insurance
I strongly recommend travel insurance for every trip. It can help protect your investment if plans change for covered reasons. If you decline coverage, you accept the financial risk of cancellations, delays, medical events, and other losses.
Destination weddings and groups
Destination weddings and group trips involve additional requirements, such as legal documentation, resort rules, guest counts, room blocks, and attrition or cancellation terms. You are responsible for the legal requirements of your wedding and for the accuracy of the information you provide. For group travel, the group organizer is responsible for communicating details to travelers, and individual travelers are responsible for their own bookings and payments unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Limits of responsibility
Because suppliers provide the services, I am not responsible for their acts, errors, omissions, delays, cancellations, injuries, losses, or the quality of their services. Events outside anyone's control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or government actions, may disrupt travel, and I cannot be held responsible for them. If something does go wrong, I will help you work with the supplier to find a resolution.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, my total liability for any claim related to my services is limited to the planning investment you paid to me for the services at issue.

The content on this website, including text, images, and design, belongs to Next Era Travel LLC or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. If you share a review or photos, I may ask for your permission before using them publicly.
